Mammoet Relocates Malaysian Operations

Heavy-lift firm Mammoet has moved its Malaysian operations from Nilai, near Kuala Lumpur, to Tanjung Langsat in Johor Bahru.

The relocation was carried out to provide “greater access” to water transport and “more timely” mobilization. The firm will retain a commercial office in Kuala Lumpur.

“The move was essential to ensuring we can mobilize our equipment as quickly as possible for our customers … The new location in Tanjung Langsat enables us to do this. Being closer to the water improves our connection to our customers. I am proud of the brand new facilities and the set-up of the new yard,” said John Halfweeg, managing director Asia Pacific at Mammoet.

With global headquarters in Schiedam in the Netherlands, Mammoet has been delivering transportation services in Malaysia for more than 43 years, coordinated via its Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore.
