Mammoet Expands Regional Structure

(Global) Five Regional Managing Directors Appointed

Heavy-lift specialist Mammoet has announced an expanded regional structure, with the appointment of senior staff.

The reorganization follows the acquisition of heavy-lift rival ALE last year and will see the newly combined business split across five regional businesses with the following regional managing directors reporting into CEO Paul van Gelder:
• Asia-Pacific, John Halfweeg.
• Europe and Russia, Wouter van Noort.
• Latin America, Sergio Vanina.
• Middle East and Africa, Jack van den Brink.
• North America, Martijn Kuipers.

“Our regional managing directors are a strong representation from both Mammoet and ALE, and as such provide a good foundation for preserving the best of both cultures as we continue to integrate and optimize our operations,” Gelder said.

Headquartered in Schiedam in the Netherlands, Mammoet employs about 6,800 employees as a result of the merger with ALE and provides a range of breakbulk services from transportation and logistics planning to heavy-lift and crane rental.
