Logistics firms JS World Freight and CEA have delivered a shipment of BMW motorbikes from Singapore to Hanoi, Vietnam.

The consignment included 12 BMW motorbikes, which were loaded by a team from JS World Freight in Singapore. Both firms are members of Cargo Connections, a UK-based network offering representation for breakbulk operators worldwide. The association is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and limits membership to three firms in each country.

Fellow Cargo Connections member Mira Transport Services also completed a recent breakbulk delivery, shipping drilling rigs and oilfield equipment to Mersin Port in Turkey from Qingdao, China.

“The client specializes in the design, manufacture, repair and maintenance of mobile and land drilling rigs, remote control systems and pipe rams. Due to the sensitivity of the cargo and its high value, the cargo had to be delivered to the final destination very carefully and road permissions had to be obtained by Mira before the operations commenced,” a spokesperson for Mira said.
