Geo Transport Moves Tadano Crane

Cargo specialist Geo Transport and Construction has delivered a Tadano crane to Cebu in the Philippines.

The Tadano RT Crane GR1450-EX weighed 80 tonnes and was transported using an 8x4 MAN truck and a four-axle MegaMAX low-bed trailer from Faymonville.  The trailer was equipped with 19.5 inch pendle-axles, permitting a technical axle load of 16.5 tonnes on each axle.

“The unique kingpin steering on these trailers offers unmatched maneuverability and allows to access extremely tight areas such as construction sites, power plants or inner cities,” a spokesperson for Faymonville said.

Headquartered in Luxembourg, Faymonville manufactures and supplies semi-trailers for the special haulage industry and its brand portfolio includes transport solutions from 15 tonnes up to 15,000 tonnes.
