Transport from Eggborough
Haulage specialist Collett & Sons has transported three cold boxes from Eggborough to a client in the West Midlands in the UK.
The complex transport utilized an in-house designed transport bracket, connected to Scheuerle clamp systems. This allowed the Collett Team to raise and lower the height of the load as needed while ensuring that the load was securely attached to the trailers.
“Due to the length of the cargo and loaded vehicle, numerous sections of the route demanded street furniture removal, road widening, parking restrictions, tree pruning and manual steering requirements,” a spokesperson for Collett & Sons said.
Based in Halifax, England, Collett & Sons operates a fleet of heavy-lift trucks, trailers and SPMTs and provides breakbulk logistics throughout the UK and Europe.
