C.H. Robinson Moves Liuzhou Machinery

Cargo carrier C.H. Robinson has transported an urgent shipment of machinery from the U.S. to China.

The air shipment involved delivery of 44.6 tonnes of  equipment in 13 crates totaling 166 cubic meters. The cargo was transported from O’Hare in Chicago through South Korea to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in China.

“Because this was a last-minute request, their regular crating company in Michigan was unable to complete the job in time. Cranes were used to load it onto the aircraft for transport and were transported inland to the customer’s door in Liuzhou, Guangxi, China,” a spokesperson for C.H. Robinson said.

Based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, C.H. Robinson is a Fortune 500 provider of multimodal transportation services and specializes in breakbulk services worldwide.
