Generators Delivered for Argentina Power Plant Project

Freight forwarding firm Centauro has transported twin turbo generators and auxiliary components for a large-scale power plant project in Argentina.

Comprising more than 10,000 cubic meters of cargo the consignment involved moving two Siemens GT 800, HRSG units to the Lujan de Cuyo Cogeneration project in Mendoza Province from Norrköping port.

“Some of the challenges that Centauro faced included just-in-time deliveries, OOG (out-of-gauge) parts and pieces weighing over 160 tons each, plus lots of containers with accessories that were handled with a specially designed logistics through Chilean ports,” a spokesperson for Centauro said
