Blue Water Transports Braila Hull Block

Shipping and project cargo company Blue Water has transported a floating hull block from Vietnam to Romania.

The 870-tonne unit was loaded aboard the multipurpose vessel Jumbo Jubilee in Vung Tau, Vietnam, and Blue Water completed extensive precarriage study of water depth and clearances at the discharge port of Braila, Romania.

“After loading the cargo onboard, the hull block was securely fastened for the transport to Braila in Romania. Everything went as planned without any damages to the cargo – but more importantly, in a safe operation for all parties involved,” said Victor Pay, technical and engineering representative of Blue Water.

Headquartered in Esbjerg on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark, Blue Water operates 55 offices in more than 26 countries worldwide.
