BBC Introduces Yacht Transport Service

Multipurpose shipper BBC Chartering has expanded its cargo service globally with the launch of a new channel aimed at transport of yacht and out-sized vessels.

The new BBC Yacht Transport service offers supply chain services for manufacturers and the yachting community as well as remote destination solutions for any type of yacht. Transport will be provided by BBC’s fleet of multipurpose and heavy lift vessels.

“The yacht transport market has grown considerably over the last decades ... Today we are excited to offer the industry the most direct access to our fleet and with that a lot more choice and a whole new service level,” said Svend Andersen, CEO of BBC Chartering.

BBC Chartering owns a fleet of more than 160 ships ranging in capacity from 3,500 to 37,500 deadweight tonnes, and operates the largest global project chartering network with more than 400 project shipping professionals across its 31 offices worldwide.
