ALE Handles Silao Steel Plant Modules

Heavy-lift firm ALE has transported a series of modules for a steel mill plant project in Silao, Mexico.

The project in the northern state of Guanajuato, required handling of modules, ranging from roof panels to plant modules, weighing up to 300 tonnes. ALE utilized an LR11350 crawler crane with P boom to minimize congestion on site.

“As the client was able to continue other work without crane pad interfering, overall project costs and build schedules were optimized,” a spokesperson for ALE said.

Headquartered in Staffordshire in the UK, ALE provides heavy-lift services for a range of industries. The firm has more than 30 regional offices and focuses on heavy-lift projects in oil and gas, civil, nuclear, offshore, renewables, petrochemical, ports, marine, minerals and metals and mining.
