ACI Delivers Barranquilla Rotor

Breakbulk firm ACI Cargo has delivered a rotor unit from North Carolina to Colombia.

The 39-tonne unit was relocated from the Siemens Gas Turbine manufacturing plant in Charlotte. It was delivered to the Termoflores power plant in Barranquilla in the north of Colombia.

“ACI Cargo contracted a 53-foot trailer for the inland trucking to the Port of Miami for a three-day ocean transport journey to Barranquilla Port,” a spokesperson for ACI said.

Located in Miami, Florida, ACI Cargo provides project cargo handling services throughout the Americas and is a member of the XL Projects breakbulk assocaition.
